Business Mudgee is launching a new initiative supporting the health of all residents, not just business people, across the Mid-Western Regional Council area. The Heart of Cudgegong – Defib Project will promote the location and installation of Defibrillators or Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in all communities including Rylstone, Kandos, Mudgee and outlying villages.
“We have been inspired by the great work of the Gulgong community to provide easy, 24hr access to defib devices for residents of that town. We would like to roll out a similar initiative right across our Council area”, Ali Broinowski President of Business Mudgee said today. “We understand that the use of an AED within the first three minutes of a cardiac arrest has shown to improve lifesaving outcomes of patients from 10% up to 70%. (Sourceª) It would be amazing if we could support these sorts of outcomes for anyone suffering a cardiac arrest in our region.”

UPDATE ON MID WESTERN MAGAZINE
For the last few years Business Mudgee has produced Mid Western Mail led by our dynamic duo, Fi & Naomi. However, life has taken them in new directions so the Committee have made the decision to stop production of this publication.
We are very grateful to everyone who has advertised with us and really benefited from a truly local magazine. Thank you.
Mid Western Mail reached new heights in the last 12 months with Fi & Naomi as the driving force behind it and the Committee would like to thank them for their commitment and professionalism to this bi-monthly mammoth task.
We'd also like to thank Gulgong Chamber for entrusting us with Mid Western Mail.
There will be somewhere for everyone to advertise though so watch out for our next announcement!

This is testament to their dedication and commitment to diners with celiac disease 👏9 months ago, we embarked on a process to gain national accreditation on the cafe and our operations.
It has been a long and at times arduous process.
